I am in my 9th year as an educator. I received my Single-Subject Teaching Credential from San Diego State University in Social Science. During my tenure I have taught 8th grade US History, 10th grade World History, 12th grade Government, 12th grade Economics and AP European History. I built, submitted and received approval on my AP Euro Course Syllabus in 2013 and then again in 2015.
I am currently the Flex Lab Manager at our brand new school (started August 2016) through the American Heritage Charter Schools. We are running a hybrid online traditional model where students are taking classes through the learning platforms Itslearning and Edgenuity, as well as in classrooms. We are trying to meet the students needs by leveraging technology and providing a path for their success.
